My wife and I got 64Gb iPhone 5s's two days ago, in Amsterdam, and they are great - **bleep** - they keep randomly losing network connection for a few seconds, then finding it again. This happens about every 20 minutes in our home where we have otherwise good service, and it happens randomly - not at the same time for the 2 phones. It also happened with a 32Gb 5s that we had for 1 day previously.
We did some internet research on this and found it is a problem other have had as well, most likely a configuration issue with the APN. Please see my post on this thread... as well as a previous message by 'Zhe Wiz' that describes the issue as linked to the "LTE" setting on their phone.
Sure enough, when we disable 4G, this dropping out no longer happens.
Apparently, there is an APN setting change that could help this... does anyone know any information about this?
Thank you very much.

The APN for 4G is kpn4g.nl. Which APN is currently in the device?
The other settings can be found in this document: http://www.kpn.com/ss/Satellite/9cDFA0lTiZpdfWY894qRTE3xe1XbXyOxtI9nguMMdzBxC+LlvB4zrq3JNc8mBSv2/MungoBlobs/attachment/06-28-2013-HandleidingAPNinstellenvoorKPN4G-AppleiPhoneseniPads-FINAL.pdf
