Hi, so I am currently trying to take over my brother's mobile contract. He used to live in the Netherlands but is now living in Aruba. I am currently living in the Netherlands, but I am also in Aruba at the moment on vacation. I read on the website that both the current contract holder and the future contract holder has to be present in a KPN store for the change, but i can't make that happen since my brother no longer lives in the Netherlands. I would like to know if there is any other alternatives? Maybe having my brother sign a form for example?
Thank you for your time.

Hey @Amir0137, welcome! That's a good question but Im sorry to say there is only one way to take over a mobile contract and that's the way you described. You both have to be in a KPN store. You both have to pin € 0,01 for the transaction so a form or signature isn't enough.

The other option would be that he cancels his contract and you get a new contract. You can fill in the phonenumber under "Jouw telefoonnummer" and you will be called back: https://www.kpn.com/service/administratie/opzeggen/mobiel.htm
Or you can chat via https://www.kpn.com/klantenservice.htm (bottom left)

Sorry I don't have any other options. Have a great vacation!
