Unable to activate replacement sim

Good day,

I ordered and received a replacement sim for my prepaid mobile number (the original sim was stolen). I am struggling to activate the replacement sim. I am based in South Africa, travelling to the Netherlands soon.

I would appreciate assistance activating the new sim.

Hoping to retain the mobile number I have had for many years.

Het beste is om als je dadelijk in Nederland bent te bellen met 0800-0402. Lukt dat niet? Dan kun je hulp vragen bij een KPN-winkel. 

Kun je niet wachten totdat je in Nederland bent? 

Bel dan +316 1200 1200 (pas op: belkosten). 

Aanvulling:
Bereikbaar maandag t/m vrijdag 08.00 tot 18.00 uur, zaterdag 08.00 tot 17.00 uur (NL tijd).
Zon- en feestdagen gesloten. Voor storing 24/7 bereikbaar. 

 

It is best to call 0800-0402 if you are in the Netherlands immediately. Doesn't that work? Then you can ask for help at a KPN store.

Can't wait until you get to the Netherlands?

Then call +316 1200 1200 (beware: call costs).

Addition:
Available Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (NL time).
Closed on Sundays and public holidays. Available 24/7 for breakdowns.
