This is regarding the usage from home network The Primary Outlook account is accessible.  But another functional account in Outlook is not accessible and asks authentication via Microsoft Authenticator, even though there is no such authentication needed. Tried with other network proiders and this issue is not happening. Happening only with KPN network.  Checked with KPN Customer care and was directed to check in this forum. How can it be accessed?

Hi @R Handly and welcome to our KPN Community!

Odd that this is only happening on our network. It's happening on different devices as well?
As far as I'm aware you can check a box that asks you to stay logged in on a certain device, or you can choose to log in without Microsoft Authenticator.

Try using different devices and the app/or a different webbrowser as well. I'm curious to know whether it's happening then too.

@R Handly

Did you install the latest version of Outlook ? That version is known to still have a number of bugs in the program code. There have been multiple complaints about that version here on this forum.

What’s new in Outlook for personal use – May 2024

IMAP / POP support in the new Outlook for Windows.

Over the past few months, our team has been working hard to ensure that every person with a PC can use the new Outlook on Windows for free. Until now, that has encompassed users with personal Microsoft accounts or accounts from major email providers including Gmail, Yahoo, and iCloud. But we also know that a wide variety of users also have IMAP accounts or POP accounts.

Recently, we finalized changes to help make sure that customers who had IMAP accounts can use the new Outlook for Windows. In addition, we are currently rolling out support for POP accounts and anticipate being done with that rollout in the coming weeks.
