Hello. In reference to the move indicted above, I am requesting if this installation can be completed prior to Friday 6 November. The transfer from Kanteel to Beth Shalom is for my mother who has dementia. I am visiting from the USA to take care of her logistics and medical care; I return to the USA on Friday 6 November; would be ideal if the transfer can be completed prior to that Friday so I can confirm that her telephone works before I leave the country. It is not certain to me why the installation has not succeeded the past two times someone has been at Beth Shalom. Please advise. Thank you!

Yes, please schedule it for 6 November and no later. The technician, once they arrive at Beth Shalom Nursing Center, needs to report him/herself at the front desk and ask to be escorted to my mother’s room by a volunteer and ensure that the installation actually occurs. KPN has been to Beth Shalom for this installation twice and both times things have gone wrong and the installation has failed and/or been. cancelled on the spot. For example, on Monday the technician went to the wrong room and after the nursing home told him the correct room (Room 216 which KPN has confirmed with us is on the order), he left because he said that the incorrect room was on the order which we later confirmed was not the case. So, please schedule for 6 November - we’ve been waiting for this installation for weeks and ensure the technician asks for help to get to the correct room. Thank you!

What troubles are there with planning a mechanic? The original request to have the phone installed was weeks ago and a mechanic has been there twice already and no one has succeeded in successfully installing a simple telephone … what’s the trouble getting a mechanic to install a regular telephone?

Sorry for getting back this late. The system doesn't allow us to make an appointment. We are looking into it, but i am not sure when it will be possible. :-(
